Willie Radford is a founder and managing partner of Gomez, Radford & Rome LLP. Mr. Radford is a well-rounded, zealous advocate with extensive experience in criminal law. He is a clear and compelling writer and orator with a proven record as a trial attorney.

As a former prosecutor, Mr. Radford handled virtually every aspect of a criminal case, from the filing of a criminal complaint through jury trial to negotiations, preliminary hearings, and motions. 

While at the DA’s Office, he successfully tried both felony and misdemeanor cases. As a prosecutor, Mr. Radford handled numerous types of felony crimes including drug crimes, weapons charges, kidnapping, false imprisonment, burglary, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and arson.

Most importantly, Mr. Radford’s experience handling cases for the District Attorney’s Office gives him a unique perspective on how to recognize and exploit the weaknesses of a case to obtain favorable dispositions for his clients.

Other than his experience as a Deputy District Attorney, Mr. Radford worked in Orange County and Los Angeles, California, where he handled a wide variety of civil litigation matters on both the plaintiff and defense side.  

EDUCATION

Mr. Radford received a B.A in Economics from San Jose State University and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from The University of La Verne, College of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude and received the Paul Egly scholarship for his academic performance.
